Registers of violent offenders and sexual offenders / paedophiles, and the Employment Court of NZ database of grievances taken against previous employers are also consulted. </span></p>

<p><span style="color: #494949;">Credit checks are conducted through a third party to obtain a record of any defaults & collections, insolvencies or judgements against the candidate. </span><span style="color: #343434;">We are able to identify and verify the applicant at their declared current and previous addresses and view any current directorships. The key information provided by a credit check includes any history of bad debt, lack of a credit history and outstanding Ministry of Justice fines. We analyse any patterns relating to this behaviour as not everyone with a bad credit rating is necessarily a risk to their employer. </span></p>
